A Configuration message is a standard message sent out by a host when it is about to make a change to its configuration. There are actually two types of messages that you can send out, those that are mandatory and those that are optional. The mandatory message is sent out every time a change is being made to the system configuration and if the change fails then it fails to be read by any other software on the server.
When you are looking to configure a piece of software or you want to send a message about the status of a certain hardware device then the optional message will be sent out for any reason. Most configuration messages will consist of text that tells the computer what needs to be done and when this is done then the message is then sent out. You could also get a message from an administrator telling the users how to get the message to work. Most message providers will have a control panel interface to enable you to see the messages that are being sent out. If you are not able to view these messages then you should be able to check the logs of the programs that have been configured so that you can know what the configuration messages mean to you.
One of the biggest problems with messages is the fact that most people do not understand them. Many people just put a file onto the computer and they forget about what it is doing and so it is not sent out to everyone. The best thing that you can do is take some time to go and see a message provider like Comodo and see what a message is actually capable of doing. In the meantime you will be able to learn more about what message is sent out and what it can do for you.
